Normand G. Lamontagne

Pawtucket – Normand G.

Lamontagne, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

He was the beloved husband of Mary Z. (Mather) Lamontagne for sixty-one years.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late George and Carmen (Desmaris) Lamontagne.

Normand was raised in Central Falls and resided in Pawtucket most of his life.

He was employed by the Pawtucket Water Supply Board for over twenty years until retiring.

Normand enjoyed astronomy and visiting various observatories.

Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Doris J.

Grant and her late husband, Conrad, of Charlestown; his nephew, Alan Lamontagne and his wife, Kimberly of Pawtucket and their daughter, Rebecca.

He was the brother-in-law of Normand and Paula Dumas of Central Falls and their children, Michael Dumas and his wife, Cherie of Pawtucket and Jessica Gismondi and her husband, George of Killingly, Connecticut and their daughter, Katherine, and also the brother-in-law of Joseph and Carole Mather and their children, Ashley and Allison.

He was the brother of the late Roger Lamontagne and his wife, Joann, and the brother-in-law of the late Christopher Mather.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, December 10th at 11 a.m. followed by Services at 1p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket.
