Pawtucket – Normand A.
Labbe, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2019, which is the birthday of his beloved late daughter, Michelle Corrigan.
He was the beloved husband of the late Olive A. (Duval) Labbe.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Herve and Eva (Dupre) Labbe.
Normand was a United States Army veteran of World War II and went on to work as a foreman at Kenney Manufacturing in Warwick until his retirement in 1989.
He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of both the LeFoyer and the JK Club in Pawtucket.
He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man with a heart of gold.
Normand leaves a son, Dennis Labbe of Hope Valley; 4 daughters, Paulette Leroux and her husband, Leo, of Warwick, Claudette Lineberger and her husband, Kenny, of Pawtucket, Celeste Reynolds and her husband, Bob, of Warwick and Janet Papagni and her husband, Mike, of Riverside; a brother, Brother Leo Labbe, S.C. of New Orleans, LA; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, daughter and three brothers, Roland, Rene and Gerald Labbe.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.
Jean the Baptist Church, 68 Slater St., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
VISITATION will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
