Pawtucket – Norman G.

Pike, 83, passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

He was the beloved husband of Marge S. (Collette) Pike for sixty-three loving years.

Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late George J. and Lillian (Reynolds) Pike.

Norm served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and went on to a career as the manager of dairy and frozen foods at Fernandes Market for thirty-two years.

Subsequently, Norm worked as a custodian for the Pawtucket School Department for ten years until retiring.

He was a longtime member of the VFW and a lifelong member of the former Lefebvre Post in Central Falls.

Norm enjoyed caring for his yard and meticulously tending to his lawn.

Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and watching his favorite TV Sitcom, MASH.

Norm will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past eighty-three years.

Along with his loving wife, Norm leaves six children, Kenneth Pike, of Pawtucket, Lt.

Joseph Pike, Pawtucket F.D. (Retired) and his wife, Bridgitte, of Pawtucket, Dr.

Douglas Pike and his wife, Deborah, of Tucson, AZ, Kelly Pike of Pawtucket, Battalion Chief, Jamie Pike, Pawtucket F.D., of Pawtucket and Jason Pike of Pawtucket; eight grandchildren, Corey, Andy, Courtney, Caitlyn, Brenden, Jake, Josh, and Nicholas; four great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Pike, Jayla, Jaebyn, and Jyma Yielding; a sister-in-law, Audrey Pike of Wareham, MA, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Ronald and Gordon Pike.

The funeral will be held on Friday, September 27th at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be held on Thursday, September 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.

John Paul II Parish would be appreciated.
