South Kingstown – Norman L.
Brillon, 85, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late George and Leah (Cote) Brillon.
Navy veteran of World War II.
He worked as a carpenter and engineering assistant at Texas Instruments, Attleboro, for many years until his retirement.
Norman was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed woodworking; fishing and quahogging; golfing and playing poker with his friends.
Above all he was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Norman leaves two daughters, Elaine Forbes of Attleboro and Dianne Edson of South Kingstown; a brother, Gerald Brillon of South Attleboro; five sisters, Lorraine Brousseau and Theresa Archambault both of Attleboro, Doris Janvier of North Providence, Jeanne Cardin of North Smithfield and Bernice Mailloux of Lincoln; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and is predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
Services and burial are private.
