Norman Bisson

East Providence – Norman “Uncle Norman” Bisson, 85, of Rumford, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline M. (Theberge) Fuller-Bisson and the late Virginia C. (Hamilton) Bisson. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Cleophas and Yvonne (Legare) Bisson, he resided in Pawtucket before moving to Rumford in 1956. Norman was employed by the Ferland Corporation for 68 years until retiring in 2011. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Barbara Joncas of Johnston and Sandra Bisson in Virginia; three step-children, Deborah (Isaro) Bettencourt, Susan (Jeff) Luciano and Richard (Jacki) Fuller and six step-grandchildren. Brother of Maurice and Raymond Bisson, Anita Lagasse, Janet Jerauld, Connie Boucher and the late Roger Bisson and Yvette Delisle. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Interment...
