Norma G. Beland

Pawtucket – Norma G. (Fowler) Beland, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Beland for forty-three years. Born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Elmer M. and Muriel A. (Bush) Fowler, she resided in New Hampshire before moving to Pawtucket in 1972. Norma worked in the Dietary Department of the former Cartie’s Health Center, Central Falls for over fifteen years before retiring in 2002, and was previously employed at Charlesgate Nursing Center, Providence. She was a member of the Covenant Congregational Church, Pawtucket. Besides her husband, she leaves a sister, Holly Garvie and two brothers, Ralph Belleau and Roger Belleau.
