Nora M. David

Pawtucket – Nora M. (Antone) David, 93, of Pawtucket and Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of the late George “Sippi” David for seventy years.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Galley) Antone.

Nora worked for the Big G Supermarket for many years before her retirement.

She was a member of St.

Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, Pawtucket; founding member of St.

Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church, Naples, FL; member of the Ladies Society at St.

Mary’s and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

One of her greatest pleasures in life was cooking for her family.

She is survived by her five loving children, Bette Ayoub and her husband Philip, Barbara Aubin and her husband Donald, Nancy Penta, George David, Jr. and his wife Donna, Susan Warzycha and Alfred Delpape; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was the mother-in-law of the late Vincent M.

Penta and the sister of the late George M.

Antone and Alice McVeigh.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 10 a.m. in St.

Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church.

Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION at the funeral home will be today, Monday 5 to 8 p.m.
