Noella L. Benoit

Pawtucket – Noella L. (Bertrand) Benoit, 92, formerly of Harris St., passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred “Benny” R. Benoit. Born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Harmidas and Eugena (St. Jean) Bertrand, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Noella was employed by the Pawtucket Mutual Insurance Company for over thirty years until retiring, and then worked part-time at the Slater Park Carousel. She was a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church; member of the LeFoyer Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards, especially High-low Jack. Noella leaves her son, A. Ronald Benoit and his wife Patricia; three grandchildren, Christopher Benoit, Melissa Carriveau and Jonathan Benoit; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Sean, Benjamin, Nathan and Elizabeth; a sister, Estelle Cusson and many nieces and nephews.
