Nina M. Mcginnes

Pawtucket – Nina M. (Batchelder) McGinnes, 86, passed away at home on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late John C. McGinnes. Born in Everett, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Moore) Batchelder. Nina worked for many years at the Pawtucket Public Library and had a passion for composing and reading poetry. She also enjoyed reading about US History, completing jigsaw puzzles and caring for her beloved four-legged canine friend, “Hockey”. Nina was a longtime and active member of the Darlington Congregational Church in Pawtucket and enjoyed taking day trips with her late husband to visit various lighthouses and butterfly gardens throughout Southern New England. Nina leaves two sons, David J. McGinnes and Donald B. McGinnes both of Pawtucket; a daughter, Sharon J. Tees of Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, and two grandchildren, Christian and Charlotte.
