Nelia B. Aguiar

Pawtucket – Nelia B. (deAguiar) Aguiar, 83, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Alberto M. deAguiar. Born in Lajes, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Serafim and Filomena (Costa) deAguiar.  Nelia had resided in California before moving to Pawtucket over fifty years ago. She was a seamstress at the former Angie’s Decorating, South Attleboro, for over fifteen years until retiring. Nelia enjoyed sewing and watching wrestling on television. But most of all, she loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of Grupo Amigos Da Terceira, Pawtucket. Nelia leaves three children, Dale M. Aguiar and his wife, Pam, of Pawtucket, Nelia C.
