Nancy L. Simpson

Pawtucket – Nancy L. (Peterson) Simpson, 88, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She was the wife of David C. Simpson. Born in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Kleckner) Peterson. Nancy was a devoted wife, loving and beloved mother and grandmother. Known to her grandchildren as ‘Mammy’ she adored them. Her home was her pride and joy, which she lovingly decorated each and every season. She filled it with not only love but her needlepoint, homemade wreathes, and cherished Byer’s Choice Carolers. Her home was never complete without a treasured Boston Terrier pup. Ocean City, New Jersey held a special place in her heart as she spent summers with family and friends from childhood to adulthood. The smell of salt air and the sound of waves were her calling.
