Nancy L. Forest

Seekonk – Nancy L. (Lazouras) Forest, 70, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Forest for forty- four years and beloved mother to Elizabeth L. Forest.  Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Speros and Photeny (Giannakopoulos) Lazouras. Nancy earned her master’s degree and went on to a career with the Pawtucket School Department as a special education teacher. She began her teaching career at James C. Potter Elementary School in Pawtucket and more recently at Lyman B. Goff Middle School until her retirement. Nancy was a lifetime parishioner of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Pawtucket and an active member of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society. Nancy enjoyed drawing, reading, gardening, baking, a good glass of wine and spending time at the beach with her daughter and her grand puppy, Chloe.
