Myrtle A. Bachini

March 19, 1925 — January 2, 2014

Pawtucket – Myrtle A. (Bowen) Bachini, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Benedict “Ben” J. Bachini. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Gertrude M. (Chase) Bowen, she moved to Riverside in 1949 and then returned to Pawtucket in 1957. Myrtle was a payroll supervisor for the A. F. Smiley Construction Co., Pawtucket and Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro until retiring in 1987. She was known as “Grandma Myrt” and well known for her Peanut Butter Fudge. Myrtle was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church and the former Balcony Choir, and a charter member of Hannah Dawson Circle of Kings Daughters. She leaves her daughter, Trudy M. (Joel) Biliouris of Seekonk; three grandsons, Michael J. (Jen) Biliouris of Medway, MA, Matthew J. (Alicia) Biliouris of Alexandria, VA and Milton J. (Monica) Biliouris of Pawtucket; nine great-grandchildren, Raven (Cody), David, Madison, Michelle, Hunter, Connor, Chase, Hobie and Callen; a...
