Muriel Costa

Rumford – Muriel (Weddell) Costa, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2022. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James and Martha (Benson) Weddell. Muriel enjoyed being active and spending time with her family. She loved being at the beach and vacationing in Cape Cod. She is survived by two sisters, Hope Beeley and Carolyn Fogarty; a brother, Earl Weddell, and three nephews, James “Jim” Beeley, who oversaw her care, Ron Beeley and Brian Fogarty. Services and interment in Springvale Cemetery, Rumford, will be private. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations to American Legion, Post 311, 351 Fall River Avenue, Seekonk, MA 02771 would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with WILLIAM W.
