Muriel M. Burak

North Providence – Muriel M. (Murphy) Burak, 76, of North Providence, formerly of East Providence, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Burak.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John, Jr., and Muriel V. (Simpson) Murphy.

Muriel graduated from the former Sacred Heart High School, Pawtucket, and attended CCRI of Lincoln where she earned an Associate of Arts degree.

Muriel loved doing arts and crafts and was an avid reader of magazines and fashion.

Moore of Lincoln, Jennifer A.

Barter and her husband, Jason, of Moosup, CT, Erin M.

Helton and her husband, Russell, of Lincoln, Michael J.

Saunders and his wife, Julia, of Asheville, NC, and Christopher C.

Saunders and his wife, Danielle Goodwin, of Smithfield; two siblings, Marion M.

Bulpitt and her husband, Charles, of Bradenton, FL, and John Murphy and his wife, Edie, of Seekonk; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION will be held on Monday, April 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford.

Interment will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
