Muriel Elizabeth Biron

Muriel Elizabeth Biron, 94, passed away December 21, 2018 at the National Elks Home in Bedford, VA.

She was the daughter of the late Albert V. and Marion (Booth) Haworth.

Following graduation from Cumberland High School in 1942 she entered the US Navy WAVES program where she was assigned to Decoding & Intelligence in Washington DC under Admiral Nimitz.

She and her husband made a home for themselves in Seekonk, MA before retiring and moving to Brooksville, FL.

She was the former Dining Room Manager of Ledgemont Country Club.

Muriel was predeceased by her husband Robert A.

Biron, and son Robert T.

Biron, her brothers Albert Haworth Jr., Stanley Haworth Sr., James Haworth, Clyde Haworth Sr., and sister Dorothy Dufala.

She is survived by her brother George Haworth and daughters Barbara Emerson of Marston Mills, MA and Jayne Compton (son-in-law Steve) of Bedford, VA, four Grandchildren, three Great-Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to VISITATION that will begin on Thursday at 11:30 a.m., followed by Services with Military Honors at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Private interment will be at Seekonk Cemetery.
