Propatier, 25, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving wife Stephanie M.
Smith and her parents Kreg and Sharon Propatier at Brigham & Women’s Hospital on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Miranda was a great person, not like oh “she was a great person” but seriously….a GREAT PERSON.
She was caring, giving, loving, funny, silly, sweet, generous, smart, independent, outgoing…and the list could go on and on.
She was considered an old soul.
People would say that when she was just an infant.
She was smart beyond her years…always.
And she could relate to anybody at any age.
She was a volunteer for children with disabilities when she was just a pre-teen herself.
She would dedicate her summers to volunteering with wonderful children and they knew she was someone special as she knew they were as well.
There was a recognizable bond that they shared.
Miranda had a few things that she loved to do very much.
Some of those things were going to the casino.
Anytime she could or anytime anybody wanted to go….off she was!
She loved to play her cards…blackjack, 3 card poker or some roulette was on the menu.
She also loved swimming in the pool.
From a very young age she was our little mermaid.
She loved playing board games and any type of cards.
Always inviting friends and family over for an evening of fun or throw together a cookout and swimming.
She was always up for getting together, no matter the occasion.
She also was always game for some arts & crafts….we spent many hours, many days painting ceramics at a local ceramic store.
I will cherish those times forever.
Besides her wife and parents, she leaves her paternal grandfather, Louis Propatier and her maternal grandmother, Mary A. (Croke) Johnson both of Seekonk; aunts and uncles, Deborah Collingwood, Dean and Jo-Ann Johnson, Kerrie Propatier and Kyle Propatier; several cousins, her in-laws Al and Kathy Smith, MANY wonderful, close friends and her devoted Peek-a-poo, Chippy.
She was the maternal granddaughter of the late Ronald B.
Johnson and the paternal granddaughter of the late Loudres V.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave., Seekonk.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.
VISITATION will be held at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts to https://1million4anna.org/donate/ This is a foundation that is working toward researching and finding a cure for this very rare, aggressive Ewing’s Sarcoma cancer. (cancer does not deserve a capital C….sorry).
Miranda was a fun and vibrant person.
Her favorite color is Pink.
If you'd like to wear some pink to her services, feel free to do so.
I know that sometimes people tend to wear only black....Miranda loved all color so wear what you'd like, be comfortable and as always in Miranda's eyes.....flip flops work for all occasions.
