Minnie L. Wambolt

Taunton, MA – Minnie L. Wambolt, 94, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was the wife of the late Leslie F. Wambolt. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Beatrice L. (Muse) Dougherty. Minnie enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a longtime member of Lakeville United Church of Christ. She leaves three sons, George C. Mathis of Sebring, FL, Robert C. Mathis of Pawtucket, RI, and John E. Mathis of Lakeville, MA; a daughter, Viola B. Eaton of North Providence, RI, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Kenneth L. Mathis and the sister of the late Leven, Fredrick, and Betty Dougherty. VISITATION will begin on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10 a.m. and will be followed by SERVICES at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
