Mildred E. Jackson

Attleboro – Mildred Elizabeth (Johnson) Jackson, 101, passed on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. She was married on July 25, 1931 to the late John H. Jackson who passed on January 25, 1984. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Carl and Signe (Ostrom) Johnson, she resided in East Providence, RI most of her married life before moving to Seekonk in 1978 and then South Attleboro in 1989. She was a 1929 graduate of Attleboro High School and a member of the South Attleboro Assembly of God. She leaves a son, Rev. David V. Jackson and his wife, Martha of South Attleboro; a grandson, Jonathan R. Jackson of Lithia, FL; two granddaughters, Joy A. Marchione of Walpole and Susan Faith Mayer of North Attleboro; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the South Attleboro Assembly of God, 1052 Newport Ave., South Attleboro. Interment will follow at Springvale Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
