Michael Zuba (“Papa Z”), 66, of Pawtucket, died peacefully on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was surrounded by family, friends and much love. Michael was the cherished husband of Cheryl (Crowther) Zuba with whom he celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary in November. He is a son of the late Chester and Gladys (Motyka) Zuba. Devoted father of Kimberly Morse and her husband, Rick of Blackstone, MA and Nikki Zuba of Pawtucket. Proud Papa of Camden Morse and Noah Zuba. Supportive brother of Geraldine Darelius and Chester Zuba. Beloved friend of many.Michael was a 30 year veteran serving in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2008. Mike was known for his loyalty, unwavering support, and handyman skills. Beyond his family and friends, he had a true love for the Yankees, fishing, wildlife along with his “high speed runs” and “mystery rides”.
