Michael J. Frey

Barrington – Michael J. Frey, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, December 31, 2023. He was the husband of the late Leslie A. (Hallmann) Frey for thirty-nine years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John L., Sr. and G. Muriel (Rooney) Frey. Michael graduated from Barrington High School in 1972 and continued his studies at Rhode Island Community College and Bryant College. He was the Assistant Treasurer for the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island for several years, the Financial Reporting Manager for sixteen years at the Robbins Company, Attleboro, MA, and later worked for LeachGarner Precious Metals Supplier, also of Attleboro, MA. Michael was first and foremost a doting Grampy to his two grandchildren. An avid cyclist and rollerblader, Michael utilized all the beautiful bike paths throughout Rhode Island.
