Michael P. Cavallaro

East Providence – Michael P. Cavallaro, 74, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Maria C. (Vieira) Cavallaro for twenty-six years as they celebrated their wedding anniversary on May 31st. Born in Providence, Michael was raised in Bristol as the only child of the late Irene (Cordeiro) Cavallaro.   As a youngster, Michael attended St. Elizabeth School and was an active part of that community through his service as an alter server. Later in life he continued to serve the community as a member of the Knights of Columbus in Bristol. Michael was a 1967 graduate of  De La Salle Academy in Newport, RI. He continued his education at the University of Rhode Island where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1971. Michael was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, which he proudly represented with a commemorative tattoo.
