Michael T. Burns

Coventry - Michael Thomas Burns, 74, of Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 after a brief but devastating illness.  He was the son of Eleanor (Sherman) Burns and Thomas Burns of North Providence, Rhode Island. Michael graduated from Bryant University and served honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked as a mechanical engineer at several companies throughout New England during his long career. Mike loved his family and friends beyond measure.  His love for motorcycles was unparalleled.  Mike’s happy place was his garage and working on his and others’ bikes was his passion. Michael leaves behind his wife, Pamela Burns, his daughter Alissa Bankert, son-in-law, Alan Bankert, his brother, Gregory Burns, and his beloved and faithful friend, Tracy Karasinski, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
