Pawtucket – Melissa M. (Browning) Rosa, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of Joaquim M.
Rosa for thirty-one years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Martha M. (Burgess) Standeven of East Providence, and the late William C.
Melissa dedicated her life to her home, children, and her husband.
A fun and free-spirited woman, she took great pride in spoiling her grandchildren and spending quality time with family and friends.
Melissa worked as a manager for Burger King in East Providence and prior to that, worked at American Insulated Wire as a security guard.
She was a skilled bowler who played on a bowling league for East Providence Lanes for many years.
Melissa was a wonderful baker and chef who enjoyed entertaining at home and tending to her house plants.
She was a compassionate person who would help anyone in need, and many times she would put her own needs aside to help another.
Melissa was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, who will be dearly missed by all the lives she has touched.
Besides her devoted husband and loving mother, she is survived by a daughter, Cassandra Rosa and her husband, Nicholas Rodriguez, of Pawtucket; a son, Michael Rosa of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam, Maliq and Rosalyn; her best friend, Michele Remy of Pawtucket and two grand fur-babies, Rocky and Lady.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Graveside prayers and interment with her late parents will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
VISITATION will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
