Maureen Stegnicki

Pawtucket - Maureen Stegnicki, 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

She was the daughter of Rita Ann (Collette) Stegnicki, of Pawtucket and the late John W.

Maureen’s life’s passion was working as a private caregiver for many adults with severe disabilities; which she did with compassion, creativity, and humor for over thirty years.

She enjoyed the ocean, her family and friends, antiquing, and her dog, Chilly.

Besides her mother, she is survived by five siblings, Robin Brooks of East Greenwich, Kathy Stegnicki of North Attleboro, MA., Rev.

Stegnicki III of Brazil, Susan Bosworth of New Bedford, MA., and Thomas Stegnicki of Providence, as well as her nieces and nephews, Christina and Anthony Stegnicki and Adam and Sarah Brooks, and her great-niece Alyvia Colvin.

VISITATION will be held on Sunday, August 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Cheetham Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 5, at 10 a.m. directly at St.

Mary Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow in Mount St.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
