Pawtucket – Matilda (Albuquerque) DaSilveria, 79, surrounded by her loving family, left to join her beloved late husband, Daniel DaSilveira on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Born in Portugal, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Rose (Amaral) Albuquerque. Matilda was the proprietor of the former Smith Florists on Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket, for over twenty years. In her younger days, she enjoyed camping, spending time by the water with her family and taking daytime drives, with her late husband to Cape Cod to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Matilda was also a longtime member of the Holy Ghost Brotherhood of Charity in East Providence, The Portuguese Continental Union, Lodge #49, Pawtucket, the Knitting Club at St. Raymond Church in Providence and Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness, where she enjoyed water aerobics classes with her friends.
