Pawtucket - Mary (Nazarian) Zompa, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 29, 2016.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Zakie B. and Selma (Nahabit) Nazarian.
Mary resided in Cranston and North Providence before moving to Pawtucket over twenty-five years ago.
She was a supervisor at the former Roberts Manufacturing, Providence for many years, and was an active member of the Church of St.
Basil the Great, Lincoln.
Mary will always be remembered for the great love she had for her family, and as the surrogate mother to all of her nieces and nephews.
She leaves a brother, Dr.
John Nazarian; four sisters, Josephine Apostolou, May Gabriel and her husband, Albert, June Albert and her husband, Abraham, and Donna Salhany; a sister-in-law, Patricia Nazarian; twenty nieces and nephews and twenty-four grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was the sister of the late Fabian, Michael, Sippi, Fred, and Judge George Nazarian.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.
Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln.
Interment will follow at St.
Basil Cemetery, Cumberland.
VISITATION will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Church of St.
Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Dr., Lincoln, RI 02865 would be appreciated.
