Mary L. Wood

Pawtucket – Mary L. (Campbell) Wood, 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late James P. Wood. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, Mary made her summer home at Camp Westwood YMCA, Coventry. She was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Loretta (Vaughn) Campbell. Mary worked as a unit secretary at the former Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement. Mary leaves two daughters, Janice Campbell and her husband, Scott and Patti Volante and her husband, Frank, all of Pawtucket; three grandchildren, Kathryn Packer, Mark and Michael Volante; a great-grandson, Milo Volante; two brothers, Thomas & Stephen Campbell both in California and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Virginia Kiley and Joseph Campbell. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Services on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Calling Hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
