Mary B. Welsh

Pawtucket – Mary B. (Russell) Welsh, 80, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Welsh. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (McCrystal) Russell. Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Rhode Island Medical Imaging for 42 years until retiring in 1997. Mary leaves a son, Philip J. Welsh and his wife, Angelique of Cumberland; a granddaughter, Meghan E. Welsh; her beloved canine companion, Poochie and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late, Audrey Slavin, Aleth Coderre and Gail McGill. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.
