Providence – Mary A. (Szymanski) Sweet, 83, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Sophie (Tokarz) Szymanski, she resided in Greenville before moving to Providence 30 years ago. Mother of Deirdre M. Holland and her husband, Daniel of North Attleboro. Sister of Joseph Szymanski of Salem, MA and the late Walter Szymanski and Sophie Zagroski. VISITATION will begin Wednesday at 5 p.m. followed by Services at 7 p.m. at the CHEETHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery will be private.
