Mary "May" R. Lamarre

Pawtucket – Mary "May" R. (Reid) Lamarre, 96, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond A.

Born in Dundee, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late William Reid and Mary (Ross) Reid-Savidge.

Mary came to the United States at the age of nine years and settled in Central Falls before moving to Pawtucket in 1953.

She was a communicant of St.

Teresa Church and a former member of its Mother’s Club and Senior Citizens group.

She leaves six children, Barbara A.

Edwards and her husband, Richard, of Alabama, Marilyn J.

Clark of Florida, Janice R.

Tetreault and her husband, Paul, of Saunderstown, William R.

Lamarre and his wife, Janet, of Pawtucket, Diane M.

Lamarre of Pawtucket and Debra A.

Lamarre of Florida; ten grandchildren, Lynn Thompson, Gene Gadoury, Brian Gadoury, Amber Alston, Ross Tetreault, Chelsea Tetreault, Eric Lamarre, Trevor Lamarre, Matthew Beausoleil and Mark Beausoleil; nineteen great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, several step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mary also leaves several relatives remaining in Scotland.

She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Gallagher and Mina Campellone.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.
