Warwick - Mrs. Mary-Lou (McCaughey) Breault, 81, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, after a brief stay at Kent Regency Rehabilitation Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond J. Breault who passed in 1986. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Gertrude (Cahallan) McCaughey.
Mary-Lou worked for many years at Texas Instruments and later at CVS Corporate Headquarters until her retirement several years ago. She was an avid fan of all the New England sports teams and loved caring for her "best pals", canine friends, "Nicki", "Zoe" and most recently "Buddy". Mary-Lou was a longtime volunteer at the Pawtucket Winter Wonderland at Slater Memorial Park and enjoyed spending time with her many close and cherished friends. She will be most lovingly remembered as a proud mom to her two children and an adoring grandmother to her three grandchildren.
Mary-Lou will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she has touched throughout her lifetime.
She leaves her two children, Sharon J. Breault-Johnson (husband, Christopher) of Exeter, and Steven M. Breault of Cranston; two surviving grandchildren, Paige Labbe and Brady Banner, and a sister, Regina Silvia (husband, Tony) of Little Compton. She was the loving grandmother of the late Alex Edmond Banner and the sister of the late Phyllis McCaughey, James McCaughey, Janice Gagnon and Lois Kuhn.
She will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews including John, Tom, and David Quinlan, Susan Quinlan Antonio, Marlene Duval Hulten, Michele Duval Fedorov, Casey Silvia and Corey Silvia.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 31st at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION will be held on Tuesday, December 30th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. www.TrippFuneralHome.com
