Mary Y. Kenny

Mary Y. (Coppolino) Kenny, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully while sleeping on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Gardner Kenny. Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was the eldest daughter of the late Dominic and Carmela Coppolino. Mary graduated from East High School in Pawtucket, RI where she won a scholarship to the New England Institute of Art. While she was unable to attend due to family responsibilities, she never lost her passion for painting. She continued producing artwork her entire life bringing endless joy and preserved memories to her friends and family. She primarily worked in acrylic, oil and pastels painting everything from landscapes, animals, still life and portraits. She was never happier than she was with a paintbrush in her hand and her favorite subjects to paint were her many grandchildren.
