Seekonk – Mary A. (Croke) Johnson, 80, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald B. Johnson. Born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late James and Alice (Maher) Croke, she resided in Rumford, RI, before building their family home and moving to Seekonk in 1975. Mary was employed by Macy’s for over twenty years until retiring. One of her many hobbies was creating beautiful items in many different forms. She could do almost anything she tried beautifully, things such as stained glass, macramé, refinished tables, painted slates, handmade dolls, quilts/sewn projects or clothes made for the girls. Her most obvious talent was seen hanging on the walls. She was a super talented artist. She painted the most gorgeous pictures of the sea with beautifully detailed ships, ice bergs, waves and lighthouses. As well as, many portraits of animals or Ireland. Her pictures won ribbons in local town competitions. She also had such a beautiful home that was always carefully decorated...
