Mary Carolyn Hart-Zipser

Pawtucket – Mary Carolyn (Coutu) Hart-Zipser, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Frances (Murray) Coutu. Mary was an educator, entrepreneur, actress and writer. She leaves behind her children, Ellen recently married to Dr. Edward Gold of Suffern, New York, Annie and her husband Roy Hughes of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kathy O’Connor of Henderson, North Carolina and Richard Zipser and his wife Lorraine of Dublin, Ireland; her grandchildren, Ravi, Chloe, Jeremy and Allegra; a great-grandson, Connor; her twin brother, Robert Coutu and his wife Claire and their family and her cousin, Frances Jardine and her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 12 p.m. at Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph Church), 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
