Mary E. Gravel

Seekonk – Mary E. (Nolan) Gravel, 76, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Gravel, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late John A. and Gertrude R. (Condon) Nolan, she resided in Seekonk since 1957. Mary was a 1953 graduate of St. Mary’s Academy Bay View and a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for forty-five years. Mary spent the last 34 years of her career at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence before retiring in 2001. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, formerly St. Mary’s Church, North Seekonk; member of St. Mary’s Women’s Guild; St. Mary’s Senior Saints and St. Joseph Hospital Alumnae Association. She leaves six children, Carolyn A. Carty and Robert C. Gravel, Jr. both of East Providence, Marilyn A. Mutter and her husband, Jeffrey of Cumberland, Michaela M. Grant and her fiancé Mark S.
