Mary E. Foley

Pawtucket – Mary E. Foley, 97, formerly of Woodbine St., passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Ellen “Nellie” (Shea) Foley. Mary was a 1941 graduate of the Rhode Island Normal School and received a Master’s in Counseling from Providence College in 1981. Mary was an educator in the Pawtucket School system for many years until retiring in 1984. She was a recipient of the Papal Medal. She leaves a nephew, Timothy J. Foley and his wife, Wendy, and two grandnieces, Kate and Tessa Foley all of Bristol. She was the sister of the late Timothy J. Foley, Sr. VISITATION will begin Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Mt.
