Mary Fetekake

Pawtucket – Mary (Mecroules) Fetekake, 99, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Fetekake. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Pappafelepopoulos) Mecroules. Mary was raised and educated in Springfield, MA before returning to Pawtucket in 1953. She was a member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church and the Philoptochos Society for many years. She leaves a daughter, Athena C. Fleming Dyer and her husband, Richard and a grandson, Christopher Fleming. She was the sister of the late James, William, Sr., Christine Mecroules and Claire Brogren. Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
