Pawtucket – Mary Ann E. (Cusson) Chase, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward S.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Clarence G. and Margaret (Quilitzsch) Cusson.
Chase was a lifelong parishioner of St.
John Paul II Parish) where she served as the Director of Religious Education for St.
Cecilia School and St.
John Paul II Parish for over twenty-five years until retiring four years ago.
She also served on many other parish committees and ministries, most recently the parish’s Simon Ministry, caring for, praying with and bringing comfort to fellow parishioners who recently lost a loved one.
Prior to her work at St.
Chase worked as the bookkeeper for Texnor Apex and Roger Houle Auctioneers, both in Pawtucket.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed reading and taking care of others in their time of need.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved granddaughter, Hailey Reed.
Besides her granddaughter, Mrs.
Chase leaves two children, Deborah L.
Chase both of Pawtucket; a brother, Robert Cusson of Seekonk; two sisters, Margaret Pollard of Pawtucket and Anna LaFontaine of Attleboro; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Monday, 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.
Cecilia School, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 will be appreciated.
