Pawtucket, RI – Mary Primeau Dahn, 80, of Commerce Township, MI, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marjorie M. (Kennedy) Primeau and former wife of Michael S. Dahn.
Mary was a devoted homemaker who provided a loving, faith-centered home for her family. She earned a Master of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Anna Maria College. Her interests included sailing, Christian ministry, and helping those in need. Through her faith and devotion to family, she left the world a better place.
She is survived by her beloved children: Jacqueline Brothers (Christian) of Canton, MI; Michael Dahn of San Francisco, CA; Paul Dahn (Shannon) of Potomac, MD; and Judith “Judy” Dahn-Sayyae (Todd) of Commerce Township, MI; their father, Michael S. Dahn; her grandchildren, Michael, Felix, Anais, Charlotte, and Caleb; and her siblings, Marjorie “Midge” Arakelian, Janet Psonak, Irene Primeau, and John Primeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish at St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. VISITATION will be held prior to the Mass from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
