Mary M. Coderre

Pawtucket – Mary M. (Merambelis) Coderre, 99, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late E.

Gerald “Gerry” Coderre.

Born in Providence, Mary would have reached her 100th birthday on November 7th.

She lived most of her life in Pawtucket, until recently moving to Rehoboth to reside with her daughter and son-in-law and was a daughter of the late Matthew and Sophie (Granopoulas) Merambelis.

Mary began her working career as a telephone operator and after marrying Gerry, she worked as a waitress at the Modern Diner and the East Side Checker Club in Pawtucket.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past nearly 100 years.

Mary leaves a daughter, Paula K.

Ware and her husband, John, of Rehoboth; three grandsons, Jonathan Ware and his wife, Andrea, of Rehoboth, Christopher Ware and his wife, Allison, of Rehoboth, and Adam Ware and his wife, Crystal of Bristol; seven great-grandchildren, Mariessa, Kearsten, Nicholas, Aiden, Liam, Zachary, and Zayda Ware; a sister, Helen Buco; a daughter-in-law, Jane Coderre, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late David M.

Coderre and the sister of the late Anne Dillon and Kay Paolino.

VISITATION will be held on Monday, June 27th beginning at 10 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the St.

Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
