Mary Theresa Choquette

Pawtucket – Mary Theresa (Koury) Choquette, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Choquette. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Elias Sr. and Miriam (Khoury) Koury.  Theresa made her home in Pawtucket and was a member of St. Teresa Church for over fifty-eight years. She was an active member of the parish and served as the church’s sacristan, Eucharistic Minister, and rosary group leader. She spent countless years volunteering and directing SPRED (Special Religious Education Program) at St. Teresa Church and being a catechist for special friends. Most recently, Theresa was a dedicated volunteer at Mother of Life Pregnancy Center in Providence. In addition to her deep Catholic faith and devotion to her church, she was a member of the Rhode Island Rose Society and a master gardener.
