Pawtucket – Mary “Amelia” C. (Costa) Brum, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur M.
Born in Lynch, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Adelino and Beatriz (Rodrigues) Costa, she resided in Pawtucket since 1952.
Amelia was a twister in the textile industry and was later employed by Teknor Apex until retiring in 1985.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She leaves two daughters, Anne Marie Brum and her husband, Robert A.
Winter, Jr. of Rumford and Sharon J.
Ratte of Warwick; two grandchildren, Tara A.
Cannavino and Christopher R.
Szymkowicz; a great-granddaughter, Lauren T.
Cannavino and two sisters, Ida Cartwright and Gloria Pandolfini.
She was the sister of the late Frank Costa.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Anthony Church, 38 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket.
Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at Swan Point Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m.
