Mary G. Brooks

Attleboro – Mary G. (Fletcher) Brooks, 96, of South Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late George P. Brooks who passed away in 2021. Born in Pawtucket, Mary lived most of her life in South Attleboro. She was the daughter of the late Ronald and Margaret (Gray) Fletcher. Mary worked as the secretary for the New England Paper Tube Company in Pawtucket until her retirement several years ago. In her free time, Mary enjoyed being very active, whether it was skiing, hiking the Appalachian Trail and Mountains, and playing tennis or golf. She enjoyed all these activities along with her late husband. Together they enjoyed these activities well into their 80’s. Above all, Mary was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them at their family’s vacation home in New Hampshire and attended all her grandchildren’s sporting events.
