Mary E. Bento

Seekonk – Mary E. (Legendre) Bento, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Bento. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Lyons) Legendre. Mary worked for many years as a cable maker at V-Tron Electronics Corporation in Pawtucket until her retirement years ago. She enjoyed travelling, especially trips to the Dominican Republic and camping at Fishermen’s Memorial State Park and Campground in Narragansett. She and her husband traveled extensively to many places, including Spain, Portugal and Hawaii. She fulfilled a lifelong dream when she traveled to Ireland with her sisters and brother-in-law. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her family and dear friends. She was devoted to her family. She leaves a daughter, Cynthia B.
