Mary Anna Batista

Seekonk – Mary Anna (Paine) Batista, 68, passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side on Monday, June 17, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth E. Batista, Sr. since 1969. Born in Attleboro, Mary was a daughter of the late Fredrick, Sr. and Jeanne (Goudreau) Paine. Mary worked as an assembler at Texas Instruments for many years until her retirement. Among her many interests, she enjoyed knitting and surfing the computer and internet. Above all, Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and dear friend. Besides her loving husband, Mary leaves three children, Kevin P. Batista and his wife, Bernadette, of Falmouth, Kristin M. Batista-Clifford and her husband, Michael, of Seekonk and Keith A. Batista and his wife, Christal, of Seekonk; two brothers, Fredrick Paine, Jr. of Warwick and John Paine of Seekonk; a sister, Joan Frey of Providence; thirteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
