Mary L. Adams

Warwick – Mary L. (McArdle) Adams, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Adams and the longtime companion of Donald Roccio. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Alice (Hindle) McArdle, Mary was raised in Central Falls, in a proud Irish Catholic family belonging to the former Holy Trinity Parish. Mary worked for many years as the secretary at the former Gallego Oil Company. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing and knitting Christmas stockings for each member of the family. Mary was also a member of the of the Lady’s Knitting Club in Cranston, a former member of the Holy Trinity Mother’s Club and a former Den Mother of the Holy Trinity Cub Scouts. Mary leaves a son, David Adams and his wife, Linda, of Taunton; a daughter, Vanessa Matthews and her husband, Mark, of Hiram, Georgia; four grandchildren, Kevin, Shawn and Marissa Matthews and Alyssa (Adams) Stroh and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
