Martha Labree

Attleboro – Martha (Volkle) LaBree, 78, of Attleboro, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late William H. LaBree. Born in Dillingen, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Reinhold and Theresia (Butscher) Volkle. Martha worked as a weaver at Arbeka Webbing, Pawtucket for over 10 years. She loved to cook; spend time outdoors gardening; tending to her flowers and going to the beach. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Martha leaves five children, Frank W. LaBree of South Attleboro, William R. LaBree in Florida, Theresia M. LaBree of Pawtucket, Lisa M. LaBree of Providence and John P. LaBree of Woonsocket; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two siblings in Germany. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITATION will be Wednesday 5 – 8 p.m....
