Marsha A. Piazza

Cumberland - Marsha A. (Brown) Piazza, 67, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Michael J.

Piazza (Pawtucket P.D., Ret.).

Together they would have celebrated their thirty-sixth anniversary this year.

Born in Providence, she was a lifelong resident of Cumberland and a daughter of the late Frank L. and Aline D. (Barney) Brown.

Marsha graduated from Cumberland High School and was employed by Teknor Apex Company in Pawtucket for over forty years.

She began her career there when she was eighteen years old and retired as a laboratory technician.

Marsha loved traveling and quilting, spending time with her family and dear friends and caring for her beloved canine companion, “Tilly”, her miniature toy poodle.

She also loved visiting vineyards across Europe and the United States, enjoying a good cookie, creating her famous hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries and going on great adventures while traveling at home and abroad with family and friends alike.

Marsha will be warmly and lovingly remembered for her generous and loving heart by all whose lives she has touched over the past sixty-seven years.

Along with her beloved husband, Marsha leaves two siblings, Warren A.

Brown and his wife, Mary, of Bristol and Christine M.

Bouley and her husband, Paul, of Cumberland; two nieces, Lindsey Brown of Bristol and Haley Bouley of Cumberland and her beloved cousin and travel buddy, Marie Pickles of Cumberland.

She was the sister of the late Tracy L.

The funeral will be held on Monday, March 10th at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, One Fatima Drive, Cumberland.

Interment with her late parents and siblings will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.

VISITATION will be held on Sunday, March 9th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
