Pawtucket – Marlene A. (Amaral) Makepeace, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2015. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Lopes) Amaral of Pawtucket. Marlene was a graduate of the University of Phoenix and worked at Daniele Foods, Inc., Pascoag, RI. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and candle making. Marlene was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed kickboxing, fishing and board games. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother. Marlene’s three children were the center of her life. Besides her parents, she leaves her three children, Samantha A. and John A. Makepeace both of Halifax, MA and Kristi Prestly of Cranston; a brother, Tony L. Amaral and his wife, Deana of Smithfield and a niece, Kyla B. Amaral. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary...
